In heat, painting at Colorado Powder Coating

The sculpture is heading back into the kiln today for it's final coat.  For images and details of the finishing process, take a look at  the page for Julius' Sculpture Project.

My arms are sore

Throwing a large grinder around with a 9"-wheel can sure make a girl get tired... and with time, some serious deltoids and biceps.  The Flying Trees have been installed at Loomiller Park. It took two boom trucks, one on each end, to move the parts and assemble them in their permanent location.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is Tues., June 12 at 6:00pm.
Located at 11th & Summer Street in Longmont, CO.

Hey!  There's going to be a world class Frisbee dude there to offer free lessons.  I'm always worth some good entertainment as well.

Take a look at the page, there's more images!

Julius' sculpture won't take a boom truck, but it's going to move onto into powder coating tomorrow.  The process is going to break some ground and I'm looking forward to playing with the process.

Work is being completed!

Celebrating how Pizza Hut is art? Huh? When my sculptures got launched for the first time on a national commercial, I always dreamed it would be for something good to eat or wear.

It's in the first 10 seconds of the video.
