A sneek peek!

A new installation for Eyes of the World Optical will include 100s of casted glass butterflies.  Positioned on wire balls and bearings, the glass creations will spin from a suspended cable.

It's a conversation about our relationship to the natural world.  Butterflies play an enormous role in our ecosystem, offering balance.  The use of household pesticides and lawn chemicals are significantly effecting their appearance on our planet.  We CAN make a difference as an individual, by deciding one person at a time, to stop the use of harmful chemicals.

Sculpture installation at the Arvada Center

Opening October 17, "Sculpture Unbound" will feature some new works by Colorado artist.  MINE is one of them.  It's such a treat to be in the field with the best of the best at the Arvada Center for the Arts!

Museum of Outdoor Art Newest Acquistion!

And it just so happens to MY SCULPTURE!

"Uncomplicated Moon"
This sculpture was built in 2007 as part of an installation in Long Island, Huntington, NY.  I was invited to create an installation for an entire park.  It was a seasonal installation that included seven pieces call the "Moon Creature Forest".  This is the last remaining sculpture of the series to be sold.

The sculpture is located next to the ticket box office of Fiddler's Green.

Here is an images of the original proposal in 2006. I used an image of the Snowy Range I capture on a bike ride traveling from Cedar Rapids, IA to Denver, CO.

Here's a link to the Longmont Times article about the re-opening of the Longmont Museum in Colorado.  It's a beautiful space... with sculpture on the lawn.
